About my journey

My journey to design was anything but linear. It took a solo trip to New Zealand for me to learn that I wanted to work in technology. A global pandemic for me to learn what User Experience Design was. And a certificate from the University of Oregon to get an education for that specifically. What can I say? I enjoy the scenic route!

About me

I'm a Portland based user experience designer with a passion for accessible, engaging, empathetic, and beautiful designs. Being from the Pacific Northwest I tend to fit into most, if not all, of the stereotypes here. I love my coffee, IPAs, spending time outside (even when it is raining), reading books, and wine tasting. You'll often find me in the gorge, the coast, or central Oregon, wearing a flannel and enjoying what this beautiful state has to offer.

If you'd like to learn more about me, my journey to UX design, or my passion for the outdoors, I'd love to connect!
